Muse built me a personal friends-and-family feed
I deleted Instagram from my phone a couple of years ago because so much of the feed felt irrelevant and distracting. But one thing I missed was seeing updates from my friends and family. So I asked @Muse to build me a personal feed just for that. It used my DMs to figure out who to include and put together a dashboard of their posts and stories. (It couldn't fetch the actual images yet due to limitations in the Instagram capability). But overall I am starting to really like the ability to create these mini-apps. I also had it build a dashboard of everything its keeping an eye for me. We have seen a few products that let people create mini-apps. But I think putting that capability inside a personal assistant makes it much more useful. It already has the context to suggest what I might actually use.

I asked, that's it. 🤯 Distance was tricky with only a 2D camera so Muse installed PyTorch + Depth Anything V2 in its own VM, estimated the distance, sanity-checked its own number, then drove there. An AI agent installing its own tools to act in the physical world. Nice work @AIatMeta 👏

Claude Code running inside his own Muse agent's computer
For funsies, I got Claude Code running on my Muse agent's computer tonight. Muse gives every agent a Linux VM with 2 vCPUs, ~8GB RAM, 100GB of persistent disk plus a scheduler, hosted artifacts and their permission system. The VM has no inbound ports, so I built a tiny xterm.js emulation of a terminal and used a scheduled task as the bridge. Every 5 seconds my Muse agent wakes up, checks for a pending prompt, shells out to claude -p, and posts the result back to the browser.

Set up my @Muse agent to pull my wildlife keeper photos straight off my PC, pick the frames, crop from the full-res 45 MP originals, and build the metadata end-card with a map. Now I just write the caption and post to Instagram. Muse can post too, but have not tried that yet.
